A simple app to back up and restore SMS & MMS messages and call logs.
SMS Backup & Restore Pro is an app that backs up (creates a copy of) SMS & MMS messages and call logs currently available on the phone. It can also restore messages and call logs from already existing backups. This is a Paid no-ads version of the ad-supported free app.Note: This app requires existing backups to be able to restore call logs and messages. It cannot recover anything without existing backups. Does what it says. Says what it does. Works quickly & efficiently in the background. The web viewer could be improved, but oh well.
So easy to use, took less than a minute to transfer thousands of messages and logs. Well worth the 5 bucks!
the regular one is good, i actually paid for this one, and that IS a statement.
I love this app but I know know why you don't just take the previous weeks backup and append it then push that yo the cloud. It would save so much time and energy
Used to work great, quietly in the background unnoticed. But with the S22 Ultra and 85% battery protection, it fails to upload to my OneDrive every night.
Really helped me out when smart switch would not transfer my messages. Bought pro to support.
I do not recommend proprietary often. Majority of apps are from F Droid. However, this one is so far above the rest and has years and years of proving that it will stick with its privacy first model even through some M&A / buyouts. Those are a large reason proprietary scares me but this company has proved for longer than many tech companies have even existed that privacy will always come first along with an amazing app. The little bit of money for pro is worth it just to support great developers
WebDAV retention rules are ignored; please fix!
Pleased Wanted to migrate messages and call history from my old Droid to my new Droid. Tried nearly everything else. This was the only one that seems to have been able to backup and restore most everything. I say "most" because in a few cases the sender is listed as "unknown sender" after the process. But am still pleased.
Almost 1,000,000 texts backed up SEAMLESSLY!! Buy the pro version, the devs are ON POINT!!
